RIXE hits that soft spot of nostaligia I have for old school French punk while being unmistakably and unapolegictally unique. Every track fuken shreds deen_du_nord

I could try to wax poetic about Force Majeure ,but simplicity is the only thing that could do this band justice. I love this band for the same reason I love The Templars-- great Oi/Punk music played with that BritPop influence--- well crafted tunes with a wonderful melodic sound-topped off by strong boot to the head vocals. The two sounds marry together so well and just like the Tempmars---- Force Majeure are one of those bands that actually pull it off seamlessly and flawlessly. I am looking forward to hearing more by them and by hopefully finding some vinyl by them available.
THIS IS A MUST HAVE! East Bay Working Class
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024

Been listening to punk since the late eighties, and I can tell you this is great stuff. 77-style punk with great songwrting and melodies that will remain in your head for days. Thomas Mellaerts
